Don't be confused cause there are two Pulau Besar in Malaysia, one is located at Johor state and another one is located at Melaka. In order to get there, you must take the ferry from Jeti Anjung Batu which situated at about 30mins drive from Melaka town on the way to Muar by following the old federal road. The go-and back ticket is RM12 for adults and RM 8.00 for kids.
The Pulau Besar isn't as big as it's name. Believe me, i took just for about one hour to finish walk around the whole island including when i was lost my way in the golf course. Nothing much there but the beach and the sea is quite clean. There's only one hotel is available but most of the tourist will camp along the beach site. It's a very quite and peaceful island since there's nothing much development over there.
There's also one believe that if you want to get there, you must not take any pork before the eve of that day. There's quite number of old grave yard there too. Scary huh......

Leaving Pulau Besar and back to Jeti during heavy rain.Worst is that the ferry almost lost it's way back in the half way. The captain can't see clearly in sea. The ferry even knocked few times on the big rock. Scared..
