Seremban's Food

Last weekend i went to Seremban to look for some of the local food. I got the information that the Pasar Besar Seremban got some nice foods and I was told by the hawkers over there that there are "4 kings of the food" (四大天王) in this market. So, let me introduce them to you. I only tried the Bee Hoon Sotong and the Hoi Nam Chicken Rice cause the stomach not big enough to try all these. Hehe...

The most funny part is that when all the people around saw me holding a camera snap here and there, they thought I'm one of the reporter. Not bad to pretend also huh?

Build a cheap light tent

Here's the guide that i promise to show you. I took the photos in the previous post by using a light tent which i build myself one in a cheap way. After read through a guide for how to build an inexpensive light tent and i also want to give it a try. Here i give you a Malaysia version of 'Cheap Light Tent'.

Before you start, you may need to get several materials from stationary shop.
  1. A square box ( I found that a CRT monitor box is the best, free!!)
  2. White colour cloth (2 Meter is enough, I bought at Nagoya for RM2 per meter)
  3. 2 piece of white Manila cardboard/big drawing paper (RM2.70 oer peice)
  4. Glue
  5. Ruler
  6. Pen / Marker Pen
  7. Penknife
  8. Tape
  9. Table Light with Day Light bulb

A CRT Monitor Box i got....

Cut off the flaps on the top of the box

Mark 2 inches around one side of the box to make a border. Do this to another 3 sides also. Then cut along the lines.

Prepare the white cloth and wrap around 3 sides of the box
The main reason to use a white cloth is to give a soft light effect

Put a manila cardboard into the box where the piece curve down to the bottom.
Place the table lamp on top of the box and it's done

To improve the lighting, you also can add few more light source from the side.

My guide here might not be that much details. Read this guide for more information.
